Ten Commandments are Passé

The final thing I have been meaning to blog about is that the Ten Commandments are outdated. The Christian world might probably uphold legislation that would put them back into schools, back on government buildings, etc. That's not a bad idea to most Christians, except for the fact that the Law of Moses has been superseded. If I get the time, I'll post here what I have been studying/thinking about for some time, though it is probably obvious:

Thou shalt not kill. That is correct. Killing is bad. It would do the world some good if we all followed that one. But what about taking it to the next level? What about going so far as to actually loving and praying for our enemies? That's what would really propel our world into a truly better place. It's not enough to just not do the wrong thing; you can't just remove bad, but you have to replace it with good. Be active in your religion. All ten of the Commandments can be replaced with teachings of Jesus Christ from the Sermon on the Mount and other places in scripture.
